Anderson One Announces ACT WorkKeys Results
Williamston, SC – The South Carolina State Department of Education recently released scores for WorkKeys, a skills assessment system that helps employers select, hire, train, develop and retain a quality workforce.
93.6 percent of all 11th graders in Anderson School District One received a National Career Readiness Certificate that identifies them as “work ready” by earning platinum, gold, silver and bronze.
⦁ 0.3% earned platinum
⦁ 22.2% earned gold
⦁ 53.2% earned silver
⦁ 17.9% earned bronze
Jane Harrison, “Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, said, “Our goal is help our students build an educational pathway to success whether they choose college or the workforce. WorkKeys gives us the tools to assess and provide critical information for these students.”
“The positive ACT WorkKeys results confirm the hard work our students and staff put into career readiness and workforce development skills. I commend them for their efforts,” said David Havird, Superintendent of Anderson District One.
